Ok, I said I wouldn't do it but back by popular demand!!!  I'll give the recipe to all to enjoy and of course you don't have to use venison.  Hamburger will do!  But keep in mind when you are a deer season widow, you have to get creative with the venison that comes back to you!!  No pun intended.  In fact most folks that eat my venison dishes...never know it's venison unless I tell them.  Just ask my daughter-in-law!!  Sorry Kelly...Go ahead and prepare brown rice.  While it's cooking, begin to brown your 1 to 1.5 lbs. of  venison in a little bit of olive oil. To keep the meat from sticking pour in 1/3 cup of water as well.  Then add chopped onion, a cup of cooked black beans, add some cooked corn if you have it, add chopped green pepper (at least a handful) and seasonings.  I use chili powder (at least 1/3 of a cup), a little bit of minced garlic (or powder depending on what's in your pantry), lemon pepper and a touch of Tony Chacere's Creole Seasoning according to taste.  (Remember it can put a bite in it so don't overdo!)  Add a can of Rotel tomatoes to the browned meat mixture and let simmer for about 20 minutes.  Then combined your cooked brown rice with the meat mixture into a large pot or casserole dish and top with shredded Kraft colby cheese.  Serve with either Nabisco multi-grain crackers or be really naughty and have some Doritoe's corn chips with it.  Great for the winter season approaching and good to warm the tummy!  Enjoy!!  ps...told you it'd be good...
